Answering the phone for Comic Relief

Volunteering for Comic Relief

Last Friday, here in the UK, it was Red Nose Day, the biennial fund-raising event run by the BBC for the charity Comic Relief. Along with Marla, I volunteered to work answering the phone, collecting donations from people calling in. I was quite apprehensive, as I've never worked in a call-centre, and I don't really like talking on the phone that much, but it was actually quite a lot of fun.

Anyway, a few days on and a couple of idle tweets later, and there's a picture of me on the online magazine Call Centre Helper. Take a look here for the article.
