Walking

Walking is one of my favourite ways to spend my time, especially up on high peaks. I decided that it might be quite nice to keep a record of some of the walks which I've done, along with photographs along the way.

So far, there are just the two of them:

The Glyders.
April 2007.

This walk went over Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach, starting and ending at Ogwen Cottage. Tryfan would have been an optional extra.
The weather was glorious, if a little hazy sunshine.

The Clwydian Hills.
June 2008.

This was a weekend walk over the Clwydian Hills in North-East Wales, to test out some new camping equipment. We began at Bodfari at the North end of the range, walking around Moel-y-Parc, over Penycloddiau, Moel Arthur, Moel Dywyll, Moel Famau and Foel Fenlli. We camped on Foel Fenlli and then headed back the following day.

The weather was less than ideal, being misty and very very windy. Nevertheless, it was good fun.
